Raises the ObjectDataSourceView.ObjectDisposing event before the System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceView object discards an instantiated type.
- e
- An System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceDisposingEventArgs that contains the event data.
The ObjectDataSourceView.OnObjectDisposing(ObjectDataSourceDisposingEventArgs) is called when the instance of an object that was created to perform a data operation is discarded. The Dispose method is called, only if the type that is identified by the ObjectDataSourceView.TypeName property implements the IDisposable interface.
Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Consuming Events.
The ObjectDataSourceView.OnObjectDisposing(ObjectDataSourceDisposingEventArgs) method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.
